Our School Day

Mornings:
Gates open for all year groups at 8.45am.

EYFS (Nursery and Reception): Open their doors at 8:45am and close them at 8.55am.  

Year 1 to 6: Gates and school opens at 8.45am and children go straight into school to their classrooms where they are met by their class teacher. Classes start at 8.55am so children should be in school by this time.  However, gates remain open until 9.00am.  Any children arriving after 9.00am have to go into school through the office. 

Morning break:

Year 1: 10.20am - 10.35am

Year 2: 10.25am - 10.40am

Key Stage 2: 10.45am - 11.00am

Lunchtimes:

EYFS: 11.00am - 12.00pm

Key Stage 1: 12.00pm - 12.45pm

Key Stage 2: 12.50pm - 1.35pm

Afternoon break:

Year 1: 1.45pm - 2.15pm 

Year 2: 1.45pm - 2.00pm 

Hometime:

EYFS: Can collect between 3.05pm and 3.15pm so that parents can then collect older children.

Year 1 to 6: Will be in their safe circles with teachers to be collected by 3.15pm.

Any children left at 3.25pm are taken to late pick up in the library. There will be a £1 charge for supervision of any children after 3.25pm which must be paid on ParentPay. After 4.00pm children will be taken to the office and supervised by a member of the Senior Leadership Team until collection.

Total pupil hours in one typical week = 32.5 hours 

Assemblies:

Monday: Years 1 to 6 at 9.10am

Tuesday: Thought for the Day (in classes)

Wednesday: Thought for the Day (in classes)

Thursday: Thought for the Day (in classes)

Friday (Outstanding Work):  Reception and Key Stage 1 at 9.15am (in canteen) and Key Stage 2 at 9.10am (in hall).

PE Days:

Pupils should come to school dressed for PE on the following days:

Year 6: Monday & Tuesday 

Year 5: Tuesday & Wednesday

Year 4: Thursday & Friday (Swimming kit not PE)

Year 3: Wednesday & Thursday

Year 2: Monday & Tuesday 

Year 1: Monday & Thursday

Reception: Wednesday
